Verizon Communications declara dividendos trimestrales

NEW YORK -- The Board of Directors of Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) today declared a quarterly dividend of 50 cents per outstanding share, unchanged from the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on May 1, 2012, to Verizon Communications shareowners of record at the close of business on April 10, 2012.

Verizon posee aproximadamente 2.7 millones de accionistas y aproximadamente 2.8 mil millones de acciones ordinarias circulantes. The company made $5.6 billion in dividend payments in 2011.
