Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, NASDAQ: VZ) will host a webcast on Friday, Jan. 28, to discuss the company’s definitive agreement to acquire Terremark, a global provider of managed IT infrastructure and cloud services.

The webcast will include remarks from Verizon and Terremark executives and will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. Eastern time on Verizon’s Investor Relations Web site, www.verizon.com/investor.  Access instructions and presentation materials will be available on the site prior to the start of the webcast.
