A note from the producer

One of the most rewarding things about being a producer at Verizon is the opportunity to meet people like Anthony. When I first met him for our pre-interview video chat, I never would have guessed this bright young man had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction since the age of 11 . His candor allowed his powerful story to pour out with passion and vulnerability, all for the sake of touching someone else’s life. His mission to make uncomfortable conversations comfortable in the workplace begins with his own voice. What used to be his greatest liability is now his greatest asset and he is committed to being a positive role model to anyone suffering with addiction. This month, he is celebrating 4 years of sobriety. Congratulations Anthony, it’s been an honor to help tell your story. Thank you for going public, as I know it’s not always an easy decision. Your Verizon family is here to support you now and in the future.
