"In a career that has spanned every aspect of marketing and sales, Maura

industry," D'Alessio said. "She has designed organizations, including our
current Consumer Markets unit; she has planned and executed the launch
of new products, including vertical services as well as usage services and
multi-product packages; and she has done a great job of motivating the
people who sell them. Maura knows how our customers want to be
treated, and her current sales team is delivering some of the highest
customer care measures in our history.

"Throughout her career she has successfully led efforts to market
communications services in new ways, and we're looking forward to
seeing what she and her long distance team will do with the exciting new
products and packages we'll deliver to our customers."
