This guide has five sections: the first section provides an overview of
teaching game design; the second focuses on the lessons that will
move your students through the game design process, step by step;
the third section contains details about participating in the Games
for Change Student Challenge; the fourth section provides resources
that align to the lessons but can also be used on their own as you
see fit, as well as information about the alignment of game design
to computer science standards; and the final section gives tips for
virtual instruction and resources and appendices for further reading
and research.
We hope you find this guide helpful as you embark on guiding your
students through this exciting process!
