This unit will introduce students to the Security Operations Center Analyst career. Students will learn about Security Operations Centers and tools used in a SOC Analyst job such as Intrusion Detection Systems, Security Information and Event Management systems. Students will explore the National Institute for Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework to build an ePortfolio project going through the 5 steps in the NIST framework.
