Aurelia will introduce students to biological adaptation using fish as the model organism. Organisms have adaptations that help them survive in their environment, including fish. Fish live in a variety of habitats thus leading to their diversity in body form and shape. To better understand how adaptations are tailored for various environments, students will explore the coral reef enviroment. Coral reef fish are fish which live amongst or in close relation to the complex coral ecosystems with tremendous biodiversity.

App Required

Aurelia
Transform your classroom into an underwater education center with Aurelia, the Augmented Reality app that teaches students about biology, chemistry and the environment. Once inside the experience, students can explore aquatic ecosystems and create their own fish to add to the environments. In doing so, they’ll employ design thinking, creativity, and inclusive community building. Download Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aurelia-ar/id6443941049
