Jania—whose current favorite subject is math—credits Verizon Innovative Learning with helping her get more organized and bringing up her grades from B’s and C’s to A’s and B’s after she transferred to Bunche Middle School for eighth grade. “Before I didn’t really use technology at all,” she says. Now, the program has opened a whole new world for the charming and cheerful Compton, California, teen. “I want to be in the robotics field because it's really fun and exciting.”
How 5 teens are delivering 1 million+ units of PPE from their parents’ basements

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of five high school friends is using tech to produce and deliver more than 1 million units (and counting) of protective equipment.
Paralink utilizes the power of small-scale, decentralized manufacturing and their very own dashboard and algorithm. To date, they have produced and delivered more than a million units of PPE to hospitals, high schools, nursing homes and individuals across nine states with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers – many of whom are under the age of 20..
