Verizon Selects helps make Verizon and third-party marketing you see more personalized and useful to you across the devices and services you use. This program shares information with Verizon Media.

Verizon Selects uses:

• Information about your wireless device and how you use it - including web addresses of the sites you visit, information about the apps on your device and features you use, as well as device and advertising identifiers.
• Information about your device location including network data and location information transmitted by apps and sites you permit to use your device location.

Most of this information may be combined with information collected by Verizon Media when you access their services and visit third-party websites and apps that include Verizon Media advertising services (including web browsing, app usage, and location information), as well as information we obtain from third-party partners and advertisers. Information about phone numbers you call or receive calls from won't be combined with Verizon Media information.

We do not share information that identifies you as part of these programs other than with vendors and partners who do work for us and are required to protect the information and use it only for the services they are providing us.

The program may use de-identified information about Verizon Media services you use, including information from emails. You can read more in Verizon Media's privacy policy.

The program also uses call information about phone numbers you call and receive calls from and times of your calls. This information is not used for third party advertising or personalization activities. It may only be used for Verizon advertising and personalization activities. The program does not access or use call content information.

The Selects program does not use information obtained from texts.

You'll see ads in the same places you see them today, such as on websites and in apps on the devices you use or via mail, email or text when you have allowed it.

Devices you have on your Verizon wireless account and those you use to sign in to My Verizon will receive ads. In addition, you may receive advertising on devices you use to connect to Verizon Media sites and services, or on third-party sites where Verizon Media provides advertising services. If you share your Mobile Hotspot with others, ads relevant to you may also appear on other connected devices.

Consumer and small business customers may participate in Verizon Selects. Corporate or government accounts aren't eligible to participate. Certain other lines may also be ineligible (e.g., lines that an Account Owner has requested be blocked from participation). If you share your Mobile Hotspot with others, data transmitted using that hotspot may also be used in Verizon Selects.

If you agree to participate in Verizon Selects, you will also be included in Verizon's Business and Marketing Insights and Relevant Mobile Advertising programs.

Verizon Media and Verizon also offer apps and other services that involve the collection of location information from your device (for example, MapQuest®). We won't use your information for Verizon Selects unless you provide your consent by opting in. Once you are participating in Verizon Selects, you can visit the Verizon Selects Preference Center to:

• Instruct Verizon to stop using past data it has collected about your web browsing and locations to direct ads in the Verizon Selects program. Information previously collected may continue to be used for analytics and modeling purposes.
• Disable other lines on your account from participating if you are the account owner or account manager.
• Stop participating in Verizon Selects.

You can view your current status in the Verizon Selects Preference Center.

You have choices about how Verizon Media uses your information for advertising purposes. You can opt-out of receiving interest-based ads when you browse the web by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer choice page. This opt-out choice will apply only to the browser you are using when you opt-out and needs to be repeated if you’re using multiple browsers or devices. Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser may cancel your opt-out choices.
