Verizon Partner Solutions Exchange Release Upgrade

 

 

Verizon Partner Solutions Exchange rolled out a new release on January 29, 2024, followed by a release update on February 23.

Dashboard Improvements

New widgets and links that are configurable.

  • Quick Lists - Flagged Worklist transactions 
  • Quick Links - Start a transaction: Quote, Order, Repair 
  • Application Links -  Access up to 6 Legacy Applications from your Dashboard

Hamburger Menu Redesigned

The options presented will be based on your assigned role.

Two new options added due to the elimination of the start button and product catalog tiles:

  • Compra
  • Administración de la red

System Messages Simplified

  • Toast messages present Information and notifications at the top of the screen for a brief time
  • Pop-up messages will be presented if user action is required
  • Fields with errors will be highlighted along with a message

Quoting

The multi-location quoting framework is the standard for all products. 

  • This is used to submit requests for one or more locations 
  • The single-quote journey is eliminated.

 

How to start a quote:

  • From Quick Links on the dashboard, select Create Quote.
  • From the Shop menu, select Quote.
  • From the Quote worklist,  select the Create Quote action button.

Product changes

  • Switched E-Line Metro/Regional (TLS) - Quote to order process for all product offerings is now available.  The workflow process utilizing a template is no longer necessary.

  • Switched E-Line Metro/National (EVPL) - Same as the existing process
  • Switched E-Line - Same as existing process

 

  • Dedicated E-Line Metro/Corridor (VZON) - Workflow change to utilize a template to upload and submit a request for pricing.

Ordering

Process Enhancements

  • Due Date Change is a new supp order option to make date change without editing the order. Edit Order is used for other changes.
  • Autosaving during order entry will allow going back and forward using the new progress bar and resume order entry.

 

How to start an order:

  • From Quick Links on the dashboard, select Create Order.

  • From the Shop menu, select
    • Quote (get quote and submit order)
    • Direct to Order (submit order based on contracted rate)
    • Service Availability (check availability and submit order)
  • From the Order worklist,  select the Create Order action button.

Product changes

  • Switched E-Line Metro/Regional (TLS) - UNI/EVC Combo, UNI Standalone, EVC Standalone, NNI Standalone. 
    • Quote-to-Order process is now available for all offerings. The workflow process utilizing a template is no longer necessary.
    • Direct-to-Order process is available for UNI/EVC combo.
  • Switched E-Line Metro/National (EVPL) - Same as the existing process
  • Switched E-Line - Same as the existing process
  • Dedicated E-Line Metro/Corridor (VZON)

From the hamburger menu, go to Tools, click on All Applications, and select Access Ordering.

How to request a map:

  • Start a map request from the hamburger menu, go to Network Management, and select Maps.
  • Option to request a map in the quote request is temporarily unavailable.
