Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) Surcharge Exemption​​ 

 

 

Verizon applies a Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) surcharge to eligible revenues.  A Verizon customer may seek an exemption from this surcharge if the customer meets the requirements established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To seek an exemption, you must have a valid user ID and password with access to the FUSF Resale Certification application.*​​ 


*By using this website to complete the FUSF Resale Certification, user represents that they are authorized to complete the Certification for the Form 499 Filer ID number(s) provided.​​ 

The Annual FUSF Resale Exemption process will run from January 1 - February 28, 2025.​​ 

Any FUSF exemptions that are not recertified by February 28, 2025 will be removed.​​

To obtain a valid user ID and password with access to the Resale Certification application, you will need to submit a registration request.​​ 

Exemption Levels​​ 

When completing the FUSF Resale Certification, customers may certify their service(s) as resold at different levels, such as, ACNA level, BAN level, and Circuit level.​​
