In Unit 1 students will learn about design thinking, the basics of electrical circuits, and sustainability through a series of adventure-themed lessons. Chapter 1 introduces students to Design Thinking through a hands-on prototyping challenge. Chapter 2 of this unit introduces students to electricity with Snap Circuits. Chapter 3 of this unit combines Design Thinking and electrical circuits into a scaffolded sustainability project. Students will choose from a menu of three different projects to meet the needs of three different users from across the world.
