Second Number requires activation of a second number on a Dual SIM capable device compatible with the Verizon network, where one electronic SIM (eSIM) is not in use. Some devices may not be compatible with all features supported by the Verizon network.

You can add Second Number as a plan for $15/mo. No fees to activate; no cost to cancel. Taxes, surcharges and fees apply.
If you are a current myPlan customer on Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome mobile plan, you can add Second Number as a perk for just $10/mo—a savings of $5/mo.

If you’re shopping for a smartphone and want to use Second Number, the phone’s primary SIM can be a physical SIM or an electronic SIM (eSIM). The smartphone must also have:
At least one available eSIM.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) capability enabled.
For a smartphone you already own, see if your device can have a Second Number.

You can add the Second Number perk on My Verizon:
Sign in to your Verizon phone and/or wireless home internet account.
Go to Products & plan perks.
Select Plan perks. Select the Second Number tile.
Select the Second Number myPlan perk, then Continue.
Select the line adding the Second Number perk.
Follow the prompts to confirm your changes.
Note: Adding the perk does not activate your Second Number. You must set up and activate the eSIM for your Second Number line from the Primary line’s device.
If you don’t set up Second Number immediately after adding the perk, look for activation instructions in your email.
