eSIM FAQs

Información general

  1. What is an eSIM?

When activating an unlocked device on the Verizon network some services may not work once you’ve switched.

  2. What does it mean when a device has a Dual SIM with an eSIM?

Devices that have Dual SIM with an eSIM have both a physical SIM card and an eSIM. This allows you the option to have two different phone numbers on the same device.

  3. What is the difference between an eSIM only device and a Dual SIM with an eSIM device?

    • A device with eSIM-only devices does not have a physical SIM card and can have only one phone number.
    • A device that is dual SIM with an eSIM allows the user to have two different phone numbers on the same device. These devices have one physical SIM card and one eSIM for each possible mobile number.
