Samsung changed the color of the Creme watch and band on the website to make it more appealing. The true watch color is the same as the Silver 44 mm watch and the band is white. Samsung support told me the watch had to be connected to a smartphone in order to track exercise and sleep but that is untrue. I like how it automatically senses the beginning and end of an exercise session and continuously gives statistics on it. I get 48 hours on a charge using GPS for 2 hours per day while my Amazfit goes two weeks. The total steps are significantly overstated; measuring foot movement with a device on the wrist is difficult. Sleep times seem close to actual and the app has many details. The round shape of the watch is inappropriate for a digital device and makes screens more difficult to read than a rectangular shape. The ECG and stress feature seem to work.

For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. > Walk naturally without looking at the watch or your shoulders, elbow and wrist being raised. When you walk looking at the watch, the accelerometer will not properly measure your steps taken, distance traveled, or even calories burned. > The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. I’ve been using the Galaxy Watch7 for a few weeks, and it’s quickly become part of my daily routine. The design looks great — not too bulky, really comfortable to wear all day, and easy to match with different bands.
The health tracking features are what impressed me most. The sleep tracking is very detailed and accurate, and I like being able to check my heart rate and body composition whenever I want. It’s helped me stay a lot more consistent with my fitness goals. If you’re looking for something that looks good and keeps up with a busy lifestyle, I'd recommend the Watch7.

This watch is terrible. The heart rate monitor barely ever works . Same for sleep monitoring. It says I have to wear my watch when im already wearing it. Im very disappointed with this watch.

Battery life is absurdly low.
I can just picture the Samsung smart watch 7 engineers having this conversation, "Hey, we could buy a certain competitors watch and check out their battery and try to match their tech, their battery lasts all day. We could but I have an even better idea, let's see what the cheapest tech out there is and use it, plus it's cheaper. Great Idea!" I have had my Galaxy 7 smartwatch for 7 days and have factory reset in 3 times now. Each time the battery will last all day for 2 days then on the 3rd day it drops to lasting to just over 3 hrs. I recharge it and it's back to 3 hours. Then I factory reset it and for 2 days it's great, then the 3rd day back to 3 hours a charge. I haven't added any apps either. Ridiculous, Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for pawning off such garbage to its customers. They have known about this issue and instead of making it better for the new 7 it's worse than the previous version. Samsung, you need to do better.

No longer receiving vibration alerts for Messenger or texts. Must tap watch to get real-time workout data even tho "always on". Can't figure out how to fix via all online data.

Bluetooth version of Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 cannot make calls. I receive them just fine but when I call anyone from the watch itself, it rings then gets voicemail. I can leave a voicemail, but the call never goes through to the other person's phone. Why?
