Battery barely last 12 hours for me. Using the same as my watch 7 which would always get me through the Day. Dark watch faces. Always on display off. Heartbeat set to every 10 minutes. 8 hours after charge I'm at 37% right now.

Straight trash. I have spent HOURS - literally HOURS trying to make messages show up on the watch from my phone. I've gone thru trouble shooting over trouble shooting to get zero results. What a piece of Well I don't want to put down Poop cause it isn't even that good. When I set up my apple watch it took - maybe 5 seconds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 because I wanted a smartwatch that could help me stay connected, track my fitness, and look stylish at the same time. After using it for some time, I can say that it has been a great experience overall.
The first thing I noticed was its premium design. I chose this watch because of its modern look, and it did not disappoint. The display is bright, sharp, and easy to read even outdoors. Navigating through apps and menus feels smooth and responsive.
I also chose the Galaxy Watch 9 for its health and fitness features. The watch accurately tracks my daily activities, heart rate, sleep, and workouts. These insights have helped me become more aware of my health and maintain a more active lifestyle.
Another reason I chose this smartwatch was its battery performance. It easily lasts through my daily routine, and charging is quick and convenient. The watch also integrates well with my Samsung smartphone, allowing me to receive notifications, answer calls, and control music directly from my wrist.
However, the Galaxy Watch 9 is not perfect. I chose it expecting exceptional battery life, but heavy use of GPS and fitness tracking can drain the battery faster than expected. The price may also be a bit high for some buyers.

I came from the galaxy watch 7. I loved it and was expecting pretty similar, if not better, quality. The watch 9 took such a steep drop down I've felt the need to leave a review. The watch 7 would last me a full day, a night, and the next full day, which would leave me to charge it every other night. I would never finish a day with a dead watch, and I was content with that. The watch 9, though? Lucky to get 20 hours, and am left charging it every day. I charge it before bed, wear it at night and during the day before it dies on my way home from my 9-5 office job. Same settings, if not on the more battery-saving side of things. It's ridiculously bad, and I'll likely be switching to next year's pixel watch the moment it becomes available. This is despite my phone, laptop, tv, and (until this new pixel) watch all being samsung for many, many years.
And not to mention the awful squircle design, the horrible placement and/or quality of the watchband that leaves any other samsung wireless charger utterly useless, or the honestly sluggish and buggy processing.
Unfortunately for me, I picked up from a best buy and only had a 2 week return window. At that time, I thought "it can't possibly stay THIS bad, it must still be learning usage patterns, etc." Nope, it is that bad.
At least the display looks nice and there's quite a few quality health tracking features, I guess.

New smartwatches need time to learn your usage patterns, daily habits, and to finish background indexing before settling into its normal, optimized battery life you would expect to see. The Galaxy Watch9 is offered in two versions: 40mm with a 390 mAh battery and 44mm with 445 mAh battery. The higher capacity versions allow your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should anticipate to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! You can usually fix battery drain by disabling Always-On Display (AOD), turning off continuous background health checks, and restarting your watch. Your Galaxy Watch9 requires a power adapter that supports at least 5V/2A (10W) or USB Power Delivery (PD) to achieve proper charging speeds. Using an older, low-output USB brick will significantly slow down the process. Incompatible wall adapters or unofficial charging pucks can impact your charging speed. It could help keep track with my health problems. This would be the best choice for me and could help me stay organized on daily by day basis. The Google 9 Watch has some features I really like, but overall I've been disappointed with its performance. The battery life is poor and typically lasts less than 24 hours before needing to be recharged, even though I only use the most basic features. One of the main reasons I purchased the watch was to help track my workouts, but it frequently freezes, causing me to lose valuable workout time and step counts. The automatic workout detection is also very slow to start, which means some activity is not recorded accurately.
On the positive side, the watch offers attractive displays and vibrant colors that make the watch face fun and customizable. It is also very comfortable to wear. I purchased additional bands in different colors, and I appreciate how easy it is to swap them out to match my style or outfit. While there are some things I enjoy about the watch, the battery life and workout tracking issues have been frustrating enough that they significantly impact my overall experience. My simple Fitbit lasted longer and kept track of my steps better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this gadget. I purchased the watch to monitor my heart rate as I have an extremely high heart rate. It helps keep me aware of what is happening so I know when to slow down and take a breather.
I am also enjoying being able to talk through it when my phone isn't near to answer when I receive a call.
