[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 mostly because I've been a Galaxy user most of my life. The features are great and the battery life is pretty good. The battery lasts much longer when connected by Bluetooth, but it's not too shabby as a standalone. My only issue is that the sensor tends to not read (during sleep) due to my tattoos, so at night I switch to my other arm and it reads fine. The 5 sensed just fine with my tatts. In spite of that one thing, I definitely recommend!

I picked the smaller size, and it fits comfortably but still gives me plenty of screen for apps. This is a great upgrade. The apps I've used before still work smoothly, and I appreciate the added Samsung health features.

However, I wish I had the 7 battery back. I've tried stopping everything from running and have a plain watch face and cant get through 8 hours with this watch. Pretty disappointed.

It's lightweight, good for keeping up with some health aspects, plays YouTube I've never bought a watch where I wasn't happy with the band so this is a FIRST, ( SPORT BAND ) it feels lightweight & CHEAP (UNLIKE APPLE WATCH) and the loop rings want to slide off like 2-3 times a day, it doesn't stick to your wrist unless your sweating or have it super tight and I don't have a manual labor job. Battery life last me 2 days or more in LOW POWER MODE but will not wake up the face when I raise my wrist. Display is top of the line for the cost & very accurate to the touch. For some reason MOST THE TIME when I swipe through open apps it opens and immediately closes so I can't swipe left to right or vice versa to select what certain app I want to close so I have to swipe UP and select close all tabs. Raise to speak to Gemini works, for a second, it acts like it s about to listen but then it immediately closes. Don't expect to be a power user when it comes to this modern technology, ya win some ya lose some, buy extra strength Tylenol and be prepared to deal with a headache from time to time when you need to count on it most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I traded my Galaxy watch 7 for the watch 9. The 9 would not record my sleep. Like the 7 use to have gaps and early ending of sleep, the 9 out the box did too. My watch 7 after a year of use and numerous Google searches and fixes later started to work properly. I tried for about 5 days to apply all the fixes to the 9 but it didn't solve the issue. I even tried reinstalling my 7 back up to it. Anyhow sleep and workouts is what I mostly use the watch for. So I returned the 9 so glad I didn't send in my 7 as trade in. I would give it less stars but workouts it measured ok. I would stick with what you have till they fix the sleep issue on the new watches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Galaxy Watch 9 40mm Bluetooth/GPS only model and paired to my Z Flip 7. From a performance standpoint, it's amazing! The new Snapdragon processor really shows. Notifications are instant. Apps launch fast. And most of all, Gemini launches and respondes immediately. The One UI 9 menu and it's customization menu is great. Plenty of watch faces and complications to choose from.
With that said, unfortunately the battery life and charging times are terrible. I can't even get a full 24 hours on a single charge. And that's with hardly any use. Charging time is also incredibly slow. Takes a good 2 hours to charge.
If you're looking for the best WearOS Watch, I think the Galaxy Watch 9 45mm or Ultra 2 are your best options.

This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! To fast charge your Galaxy Watch9, please use the dedicated fast wireless charging puck paired with a USB-PD (Power Delivery) wall adapter that outputs at least 5V/2Y or 10W and higher. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm seeing a real improvement in battery life with the 9. I chose to upgrade because it had been a while and my last was a 6. The battery life is so much better that I have had good periods of time to learn to use all of its little tools!

How often does the battery need charged? My current Samsung Smart watch has to be charged at least once a day.
