You have to have a Verizon account they don’t tell you that before you buy it…total scam somone should file a class action lawsuit again Verizon and Best Buy….come on you lawsuit happy lawyers!!

Autoupdate used all data and then wouldn't work

This is a joke. Got it activated with a prepaid card. Bought 25GB for a month to use as a hotspot for Square. Great, right? Nope. Turning it on used 0.01GB of data. First day it did an autoupdate...using 24.98GB of data. So didn't even use it and down to 0.01GB of data. Went to use it and nope no connection. Lost not only the $130 for the device and data but thousands in sales because we couldn't take card payments. Avoid at all costs. Tried to return the device and was told there was a $45 restocking fee....$10 in gas means literally $5 back for something that we couldn't use and wasted three days of work for.

Once set up it works as advertised.

Bought this so I could have internet for smart TV and fire stick when camping/glamping. The set up was a bit difficult until I got Verizon on the phone. Once set up it worked as advertised. Keep in mind this devise is just like a cell phone, so if you don't have cellular connection it won't work. Thankfully Verizon has service just about everywhere. Good service and a good price.

No Verizon Acct / Set-Up / Best Buy Purchase

I do not have a Verizon account, purchased at Best Buy. All you had to do is call the number indicated on the back of one of the pamphlets inside the box and set up an acct. This is standard for registering products. This did not take long and I also purchased a Verizon prepaid refill card at Best Buy, it was all completed at zero cost to me & they also loaded the refill card for me. Easy. I have not used it yet but had to give a rating, so I selected all "good' based on experience so far.

This device is not worth it if your trying to stream off a couple devices the speed to it isn't as fast to your phone service. It can only push a max of 10 Mbps to 30 Mbps on a good day. Even if you have service in some locations it won't work properly. Plus they need to fix it to where the cellular data turns off by itself so I have to manually turn it on everytime when it's left on. Even if data is used up all the way phone is still quicker on low data.

There is literally no way to go online and pay for more data. Even the service rep I spoke with had no idea they had prepaid internet. The first month I’m somehow stumbled upon a page to pay it but to reload it is completely impossible and the instructions are absolutely no help

Died after 5 months, warranty replacement was incompatible with Verizon

Purchased hotspot in November 2021. May 2022 the device would no longer charge. Contacted Verizon who said that it was beyond 30 days so reach out to manufacturer. Contacted manufacturer and they were slow to replace product. When I did get my replacement, the IMEI of the device was not supported by Verizon, who told me to again contact the manufacturer. After frustration of paying many months of data I couldn't use with the device, I've cancelled the plan. For now will go back to using my phone for hotspot until I can consider my options. My review for this device is to save your money and select a better product.

Doesn't matter how much data you buy. It automatically updates and uses all but 0.02GB so that you have to buy more

OK o found the area to buy the prepaid mobile hotspot devices, which I already have one of anyway that I purchased from Walmart. But where do I find the different hotspot prepaid plans so I can select and purchase one for my Verizon mobile hotspot device?

Go back to the Walmart where you purchased your hotspot and they should have either the Pro or Platinum plan. The My Verizon app offers all of the plans but only offer Pro and Platinum for Airspeed. Hope this helps.
