Battery does not stay charged for more than a few hours! Connection drops a lot ,make working on a laptop from home very difficult! Never had one of these and this one is going back!!! I’ll use hotspot on phone and never get one of these again!!!

The Internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, and the battery keeps going into preservation mode. I want to leave it charging because I am gone a lot of the time

So the device has a number attached to it and can receive messages (it can't send anything back). The number linked to mine (that I didn't choose amd was assigned by Verizon) came with a whole load of spam messages right out of the box. Tons of spam texts to people who probably had the number before me coming to the device day and night.
I didn't think much of it until I found out that Verizon was charging me for each message received on the device. It's hard not to think this number that gets inundated with spam was deliberately assigned to this device to skim more money off of me per month.
Incredibly scummy behavior from Verizon if so. I've never had a new line get immediate, relentless spam to people that are not me, until this one. I had Verizon support block messages to the device so that's something.

Representative couldn’t tell me the difference between this version or the display unit that was $250 in store other than “We’re all out of stock of everything.” Rep also didn’t know the difference between any other models available online other than that classic “this one is faster because it’s more expensive”.
Well I bought what he suggested and not only was it not faster, it still had the issues with connectivity.
I literally live two blocks away from the store so it’s not about my area of coverage.
Complete waste of time.
Had to return the unit 48 hours after buying it, pay the restock fee, pay the increase in my bill because they wouldnt credit me the cancellation, and they wouldn’t let me speak to the guy that sold it to me even tho I suggested better associate training on product.
Before I had my own line I paid Verizon on a separate plan since I was 18.
Major Wap Wap Waaaah service but that’s probably why a lot of other competitors like AT&T & Spectrum are gaining ground in the area

There are lags, or delays when on laptop.
NOT happy at all about how the usage is calculated. I have no idea of the total altogether is. I see a daily bar, but, what, I have to go through each bar to add up to see how close I am before it throttles? Not only is this larger & harder to turn on & off than my previous JetPak, it keeps Turning Itself OFF. Just out of the blue! It will Very Quietly go ding & it's off. Not Good. Especially as someone who travels with it a lot for work & privacy (versus hotel internet). Wish had my old one back (it died).

The Inseego M3100 has serious DNS and IPv6 problems out of the box. It ships with IPv6 enabled even though Verizon’s network doesn’t support it properly, which causes long delays and ‘server not found’ errors. The default DNS servers are also slow. I had to manually disable IPv6 and switch DNS servers to make the device usable. My web searches using Microsoft Bing were particularly troublesome.
