I bought this speaker because I thought Altec Lansing was a reputable brand. Well, the sound is beautiful and crisp, great quality weather for movie sound or music sound. The problem falls in the volume level... driving in the car its useless, way to quiet to enjoy; especially, if you have a window rolled down. And even standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes, my cell phone puts out a louder volume than this speaker does. I love that it can connect to multiple other speakers and the size shape and color are great. I love the waterproof dustproof aspects and the sound quality but if it wasn't nonrefundable I would return it immediately because of the low volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little speaker with a not so little sound! The bluetooth was easy to connect to. I put the everything proof claim to the test. I have been dragging this speaker all over the yard with me, while doing yardwork. I have dropped it, left it outside overnight, in the dew that fell, left it in the south Georgia sun all day, with no effects on it. And the battery life is amazing! I highly recommend this product1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Altec Lansing hydramotion everything proof speaker is a must have. I take this speaker everywhere with me. From the shower to work, i never leave it behind. The sound quality is great, as i was surprised by the sound such a speaker could produce. It never sounds muffled and always clear and loud. The lights always catch my sons attention when playing the speaker. I think he really just enjoys liking the lights change color. When they say everything proof they mean it. Like i said i take it in the shower, or out in the fields while working out. This is a must have for anyone looking for great sound quality.

I wanted something to keep outside when we're in the yard and this is a great size to move around with us, even come to the park and friend's houses. It has a good sound quality and I've been impressed with the volume that such a little thing can provide. Super handy, and battery life holds up well, too. Doesn't need constant charging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this speaker. It is a good size to have outside on our deck to listen to music. The lights are a nice added feature. I tried the volume all the way up and it doesn’t get very loud. This may be due to the waterproof part. It has a good cover for the charging port.
