I bought 5 of these because my boyfriend has some and he said they are fantastic but not at all. You can't factory reset them to update firmware so only one of the 5 are online. I sent 3 back to Verizon and I am still waiting on my refund. Canary finally answered my multiple emails but they can't do any kind of factory reset. Do not buy these cameras period.

I bought these for my cat. My boyfriend has them and loves them. I had 4 and only one word pair. They don't have a factory reset period and only way to get them reset is to email for that.

I have the newer canary and I only paid for the device in so many payments then when it was fully paid for I did not have to pay any fees to use my canary device it is even chargeable then you can place it in a flower pot or anywhere you want the features are absolutely amazing I love my canary

I bought 3 Canary All-in-One devices for my house a few weeks back. The setup and firmware updates took about 10 minutes each beforethe devices were live. There are a few useful features that the Canary All-in-One offered, including room air quality, temperature and humidity monitoring. Although the metrics used to place an air quality rating are nonspecific, it's a great idea with much potential. The one thing I wish I'd done before purchasing the devices lingers in my mind's regrettable investment compartment. I was not aware of Canary's evolved approach to subscription services, and whether their devices would remain useful tools for those that opted out of their premium service. I received an email shortly after activating the first All-in-One, and was a little surprised by the doom and gloom messaging that Canary had sent me (a brand new customer). The short summary of the email goes a little something like this. "Your device will lose several popular features in the near future if you do not sign up for $9.99/month premium service." What a bummer. I was pretty excited about this purchase, and would have remained quite satisfied with the free features that these devices provided. Unfortunately, my failure to properly research Canary and the reviews from their customers thoroughly has made this another ill-advised purchase experience. I'll either have to pay a fee forever, or try to get by with a device whose features may dwindle down to the point where I've essentially purchased a pricey thermometer.

I'm not sure if i just got unlucky but there was a 3 day period where I couldn't even get it operating. The update would fail over and over & we couldn't get it up and running. Once we did, the device would lose connection to the internet every day and so far it's been completely useless to us. When it does work, the screen for the live camera is green. Very upset :(

I have 5 of these flex, and 4 indoor they work ok but when any issues arise only way too get in touch with customer service is to email

Unfortunately I had to return my Canary. It could not connect to the internet and the power cord was loose so would not stay powered. Very disappointed~I was really looking forward to adding this to the rest of my smart home products.

We like it but it doesnt have as many features as some. It was given to us but we pay a small fee to be able to use it. I like how I can set it to record movement when Im not home and I can set off an alarm and talk through it when Im not home.

Does this work with the Amazon Blink camera system? Does the alarm go off when someone walks past it? what if my daughter gets up at 2:00 am to get a drink of water, is this going to start blasting out a bunch of noise?

While the Canary All-in-One Home Security Device does work with Amazon Alexa, it does not work with the Amazon Blink Camera system. The Canary All-in-One Home Security Device allows you to set up "intelligent alerts" which provide "smarter alerts without the false alarms. Know instantly when a friend-or a foe-shows up at your home.". Configured correctly, the alarm would likely not go off when it's not needed.
