Great case but it changes colors?

I recently bought the case. The color was so cute! Then after about a week or so the case began to change a different color than the part that actually holds the cards. I think it has to do with the case part being a different material. I am not sure if it collects dirt and oils but now it is a ‘dingy’ purple.
