Toggle for Silent Mode On and Silent Mode Off

The toggle Mute Switch is very rubbery and does not always work with the phones switch. LIFEPROOF FRE for the Apple iphone 8, takes several attempts for the Toggle to turn the sound on or off. In 3 months the rubber on my switch has split. I hope that I can get a replacement under the Warranty. The one I had prior to this (Otter Box), worked well because it had a toggle lever that was not surrounded with thick rubber.

Very Protective but fingerprint access can be very frustrating

The case itself has saved my phone from many woes as it relates to dropped phones and cracked screens however the one thing that definitely hinders this case is how often I find myself entering in my phone pin because the case does not allow the phone to recognize my fingerprint the majority of the time. I almost considered cutting the plastic off over the home button but I don't want to compromise the protection of the case from water damage.

I bought this a month ago and exchanged at Verizon for a different one same model because when on a call none of the keys work when I press them ie enf call, speaker, mute, etc. I’ve always had life proof cases and had no problems but I’m very upset that this case is not working with my new Iphone 8plus.

The only thing is with the camera. Driving me nuts. Not sure if it’s not centered but when phone in case. Me camera is blurry. Like everything else.......

Great Case! This is different than the 7 Plus FRE.

This case is great! I’m using it with the iPhone 8 Plus. Great audio quality both on calls and listening to music/videos. All the buttons are responsive and the mute switch work great. This case is a bit different than the iPhone 7 Plus FRE case. It has two small tabs on the bottom inside of the front panel that helps to hold the phone in place better. The rear Apple logo window is larger to accommodate the different locations of the Apple logo on the 7 and 8 Plus. For those of you who are like me, the iPhone 8 Plus logo is not perfectly centered in the square which kinda stinks, but it’s not too bad. Wireless charging works just fine in case you were wondering. I highly recommend this case!

Great case, but it is not compatible with the iPhone 8 plus

The case was designed for the iPhone 7. Because of this, you can’t use the speaker function, which in turn caused problems using the phone with Bluetooth in the car when talking on the phone with the iPhone 8 plus. I liked the case, but there was clear compatibility issues with the new Model iPhone and the current case designed for the 7.

Do not buy the LifeLock for the iPhone eight until they fix this problem LifeLock for the iPhone eight Will not allow you to access the ringer mute switch.

How is the sound with a Life Proof case? I had a case at one time for an android and I couldn't hardly hear with the volume turned all the way up
