I bought the A42 over the phone with Verizon and received it in September. Per their recommendation when I bought the phone I also purchased this screen protector and within a week it was already cracked and my phone screen underneath it cracked as well because the screen protector doesn't fit the entire screen. I called OtterBox to get a new one and ask them why the glass is shorter than the actual screen and they informed me they've never manufactured one for the A42 and the protector I was sold is for the A52 according to the SKU # on my box. It is a shame Verizon sells this as "for the A42" and there is even a sticker on the box that says "for Samsung Galaxy A42 5G"

I bought this for my new Samsung A42 but it is too thick for it to detect my fingerprint.
