The cord is just like any other, however; it's very short. The outlet on the lower part of the wall to the table is longer than the cord is.

Not happy that it does not have a USB connection on one end. Thus you have to have the wall adapter with you where and when ever you need chair
Charge. You can't use in any random adapter, can't plug into car consol, furniture, lap top, etc. Both ends are identical

The cord is much shorter than my previous Motorola. Remember Verizon, users do not sit near a electrical plug beside our head. We sit, browse, work and text. Make the cord at a minimum, 5 feet.
