It was very confusing on how to install the iPad into the otterbox. I thought that I was going to break the plastic case when installing. I was finally able to take apart the entire otterbox and get the iPad into it and reassembled. My grandson uses this to watch Sesame Street on YouTube...So far, it's working how I expected.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Stands up to a toddler who’s rough. The stand is the weak link, it needs improvement. The stand doesn’t stay on well, and it’s not very easy to use even for me. So a kid isn’t going to do much better with the stand. We haven’t tried it on a headrest, because it’s not convenient to reach it seatbelted in. I like otterbox cases for our Apple devices, this just needs some improvement.

I have it 2 starts because protection is good but the stand is horrible. Does not stay on and useless without it. I’ve have it on my daughters iPad for less then 2 months and we hate that we can not prop it up. And there is like a nub left we can not lay flat without the stand.I wish I could return it, but the stand not staying in place didn’t stop working until 1 month and 1/2 in.
