Shocks 2 are not as good as the original open com. They don’t dial the last number you called with a double click and they don’t work with two devices simultaneously! The mic doesn’t work as well on the new model.

I GIVE TO ALL MY FRIENDS. SO FAY 3 OF MINE REPLACED FOR FAULTY REASONS. WATCH IT. HEADSET UNIT GREAT, ALTHOUGH MANY PEOPLE COMPLAIN MY VOICE TOO LOW. ANY WAY TO ADD PRESSURE ON TEMPLES, SOUNDS A LO BETTER.

I love my bone headphones. The biggest and latest advancement In mobile phone history. OpenComm2 with the boom Mike with noise reduction cuts the background noise coming into your headphones so you don’t hear cabinet noise when the doors get slamed. The ease that the hardware hooks up to the charger is nice, also headphones are shut down at this time. Bluetooth headphones hook up and disconnect at a great distance. Voice and music is clear if water gets in your ear bone design lets ears dry out

These have been a great purchase and have been spectacular for phone calls. The bluetooth connection is easy and the range from a connected device has been as advertised. My advice is keep in mind that the bone conductivity leaves your ear open which is great for awareness of your environment but not optimal as exterior noise ramps up. I would buy again.

So far I'm not all that impressed with the Opencomm 2 compared to the original Opencomm. I was told that if my PC had an internal Bluetooth, I wouldn't need the Opencomm 2 UC to connect my headset to the Shokz Connect software, allowing for firmware upgrades (a feature the original did not have); however I've been unable to connect my new headset to their software (it connects fine to my PC) & I haven't received any response to my email other than to say they've opened a case#. Also, they changed the side the microphone/mutli-function button is on from the original for some unknown reason. Everything else with the Opencomm 2 is pretty much identical to the original. So I'm not sure why I paid more to get the newer pair when I can't upgrade the firmware like I was told I would be able to and until I receive a response from Shokz, my review will remain at 1 star.

Hi there- Shokz here! The OpenComm2 UC works with most Bluetooth compatible devices. The Polycom VVX 600 and VVX 601 models have Bluetooth compatibility.
