This thing broke after 8 days use.... Verizon would not warranty it because "physical" damage! Really? I bought this phone because of this holster, I use my phone 30-40+ times a day in my job and I need it handy and quick to access! I love the design of the holster but if it is going to break at the belt clip every 8 days?.... My holster for my Motorola Turbo2 lasted over a year!

Is the a shell holster big enough so the extra battery pack can fit as well?

No, the case is only for the phone, not for an additional battery pack. Motorola, the manufacturer, will have more information.
