No its not a fast charger. It will charge newer phones, at most, half the speed of the phones original charger.

Ari98, although the Wall Charger with Dual USB Ports is an excellent charging option, it is not considered a fast charger. This unique device with it dual USB ports allows you to charge two devices simultaneously! That's a fantastic option to have for a charger. I hope you were able to figure this out on your own, but Tionna's recommendation to look for USB-C is NOT correct for your Turbo 2. This dual-port charger does not do "turbo charging," but it does have a fairly fast speed of 2.4A per port - better than many chargers that don't do "turbo" charging.

VOLBUNNY, the fast charging technology is awesome. I have a charger that works wonderfully with my phone and charges it quickly. This charger does not have the fast charging technology. When looking for a fast charger you want to look for one that has USB-C listed in the description. - Tionna

We know it's important to have great charging options. This will work with a Galaxy S5 device, so long as you have a compatible cable attachment to run from the wall charger to the phone. I hope this helps! - Eric
