Connectivity Issues I’ve Never Experienced!

I’ve been with Verizon since 2014 and have NEVER had connectivity issues until I took advantage of switching from my iPhone 11 to a 5G iPhone 12, with a reduced device payment. I’ve lived in the same place since 2012. I’m not sure if it’s the 5G or if the problem lies with the iPhone 12, but there are times where I’m completely without bars in my neighborhood! I asked a Cust Svc rep, if I’m within 1 mile of a 5G tower, how can I be experiencing these issues?! He stated it’s possible I’m too close to the tower…Ugh! I’ve been in a store down the street from my home, with my 15yr old niece, who’s also with Verizon, but has an iPhone 6 and she was able to make calls even though I had no signal for nearly 20 mins! Turns out that I have to power cycle the phone on a regular basis in order for it to remain connected to the network, but only in certain areas. With all of the issues I’ve had, I am adding another line to my acct and yes, that individual still want the iPhone 12. Go figure…smh.

The battery was good the first few months. Now it dies quickly and I haven’t had the phone for a year. I swear Apple does something to make the battery drain so you have to buy a new phone.

This has been the worst upgrade that I have ever experienced with an IPhone. The battery looses its charge quickly. The black bar at the top interferes with the screen size. I traded my 8 Plus for this and it was not worth it. Apple is making phones so fast to make money that the quality is getting worse.

Worst iPhone - Bad service/reception

This is the worst iPhone I have ever had as far as reception/service. I had my iPhone 6 for 6 years & my service was 100x better with the 6 than with the 12. Texting pictures takes forever. I lose signal randomly throughout the day & can't do anything on the phone. I used to have no problem with reception at my house (rural area) with the 6 but with the 12 it's awful. Stay away from this phone!

Has the issue with dropped calls on iPhone 12 been fixed. The reviews are bad. Also, the OLED. I currently have an 11 XS. Yesterday I got the green line of death. With OLED is the 12 at risk for the same green line. Never had the green line on my prior iP

Can my iphone be recovered if I've forgotten the numeric passcode to unlock my phone? Can the sim card in my old SE replace the contacts into a new iPhone?

The only way to recover this device is to reset it. This will erase everything. There are no contacts or any personal information saved on the SIM card. You would have to use any other backup method you are using for your phone. - Jenelle
