Yes, I'd recommend this product.

You folks need to update the specs for this phone. You don't even have to test it to know this, just look at the back of the phone. Even it you sealed the back, the speaker can't get wet either.

The specs on the DuraForce PRO 3 page are correct. The phone is waterproof and has been tested to meet IP68 at 2m/6.5ft for up to 30 minutes. When closed correctly, the back cover and USB port cover provide a waterproof seal. Additional protection for the internal components of the phone are provided by waterproof membranes inside the USB port, speaker and microphone openings. Had this phone for a few weeks now and I'm getting used to it. Went from a larger phone to this one so it takes a little bit of getting use to the size. Seems sturdy and can take a beating. The only thing I don't like about it the battery. With my old phone I could listen to music for 12 hours and the battery would be at around 50%, this one however after listening to music all day at work it is almost drained and I'm wondering if I will be able to clock out or not. That is the only issue I have with it as of now. We'll see how durable it is after I've had it a little bit longer.

Mostly indestructible

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I'm hard on phones. I work outdoors in all weather. The waterproofing holds up big time. I've dropped this phone is creeks and dove in to a lake with it in my pocket while getting attacked by wasps and no issues. The one thing that doesn't hold up and has now compromised any waterproofing - the glass covering the cameras is much lower quality. I had an embankment give out under my feet and drop me about 6 feet on to my stomach. The phone was in my front pocket - the impact between my quad and a down tree I landed on shattered the glass covering the cameras. I had an older version of this same phone and it help up longer.

Not worth the money, no repair available

The screen broke in my pocket, less than 30 days after receiving the phone. Verizon doesn't cover physical damage claims and won't replace, repair, or exchange it, and no repair shop has parts for this thing because 1) it's too new, and 2) it's not supposed to break, or 3) KYOCERA is not making replacement parts available. So here I am, stuck with a 30-day old, supposedly indestructible phone, one payment into a 3 year plan, with no way to fix a broken glass screen. Thanks, everyone.

After 3 generations of Dura Force.....

3 months in to a new DuraForce Pro 3 and it took a hit from a ladder drop. Shattered, and would no longer power up. Verizon unwilling to help with warranty. Reminder this phone is sold under a guise it is Rugged. Not the 3. I had 2 previous generations of the Dura Force. They were rugged and sustained many a bumps and bruises. Due to the nature of my job, it is pertinent I have a rugged phone(think Construction Trades). To my surprise, an Extended Warranty (which I purchased) is not a protection plan! Long story short I had to payoff in full the phone to purchase a new one. So much for the 2yr warranty Kyocero advertises for this phone

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

It's rugged durable - can handle being dropped 5 feet onto concrete and is waterproof - can be under up to 6 feet of water for 30 minutes. Phone and WIFI connectivity work great. Excellent battery life - easy to get through a long day with lots of calls and emails.

I will start with I had the duraforce pro 2 lasted from 2016 to 2023 that's when I bought the duraforce pro 3 it's a great phone haven't had any issues with it it suits my needs and I hope it lasts just as long as the other one dead and I will never buy any other phone except for the duraforce series I really love this phone

Verizon screwed up the shipment.

I never got the phone. UPS told me the sender set delivery restrictions that didn't allow them to attempt delivery during hours I can be home to sign for the package. UPS also states the sender set delivery restrictions that prohibit holding the package at a UPS facility for pick up. According to UPS, the package was returned to the sender 6 1/2 days ago, but Verizon has yet to contact me about the return or refund my payment.

I have heard that this phone doesn't support Android Auto. True or not?

That is not correct. DuraForce PRO 3 is an Android phone and it supports Android Auto. For those using Android Auto, it is a good idea to check for the latest version of the app, since Google continues to release improvements.
