I have preferred Samsung products for quite some time, but the only thing I like about this phone is the larger screen. Speed and performance are no improvement over my previous 5 year old S8, the touchscreen is inconsistent, (seldom responds on the first touch, but sometimes reacts to a finger hovering that hasn't actually touched it) and the battery won't make it through a busy day. Device health checks require opening each individual app to clear cache, but if you are running chrome, you will never get to an acceptable level of stored data under this program. One last issue is the installation of new apps every time there is a software update. As I am writing this review, the cursor doesn't want to be moved and is the autocorrect is rejecting properly spelled words, offering to replace them with misspelled words. What a piece of junk!

I hate this phone with a passion, and have from Day ONE! Verizon would not take it back. I wanted an iPhone from the start but the trade-in they allowed was impractical. It's too big, Samsung features don't work half the time, and VZN reps give different explanations as to the cause, as they have been quite inept.

My wife and I both agree that switching to Samsung was a huge mistake. The swipe keyboard will autofill words not even close to what was attempted. The security and updates are not optional and change features on your phone without the option to change it back. The phone will open a different app rather than the one that was selected, as well as other glitches. I'm considering taking a loss just to have a Motorola back.

Nice upgrade from S22+. I use my phone with my insulin pump. And would have gotten a S24+ if were compatible with my pump. I have always used Samsung, which do a good job!

I thought I was upgrading from my S21 to the S23 plus. Instead I have a battery that stays drained and random pop ups all over my screen. I can not even get a full day out of my battery. I sometimes work 12 hour days and will have a full battery when I start my day and by the end of my day I have 5% left. These random pop up advertisements, pop up randomly for no reason. It looks like it is from the Samsung internet, which I don't even use and have everything blocked from it. Yes, I have pop ups disabled. I have seen on other comment boards that this is a common issue. I am about to return it and switch to an iPhone if this doesn't get resolved.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Super fast. Amazing camera. Hate that Samsung did away with the additional storage via micro SD card.

Very unprofessional and unethical of Verizon to advertise the S23 for the same price just days before the S24 release without letting potential customers know that the S24 is coming to market so soon and it will cost the same (even cheaper if preordered).. Now I have to return my device and pay the restocking fee to get the S24. I would have just waited if Verizon had been transparent about the S24 release.
