We understand how concerning and frustrating this can be, especially when reliable communication is important. To help resolve the problem, please ensure that the device has been activated correctly with Verizon and that the software is up to date by going to Settings > System > System updates. We also recommend restarting the phone, confirming that Mobile Data is enabled, and checking that the device is receiving a signal in the area. If available, try resetting the network settings by going to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth. This will reset all network settings, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth connections. Note that you'll need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords after doing this. If texting and calling only work in certain locations, it may also be helpful to verify local network coverage with the carrier. Since the device is being used on the Verizon network, visiting a Verizon store is a good step to confirm that the SIM card, account provisioning, and network settings are configured correctly. What needs to be done to expand the ROM to 1 TB?
Hi Dave, Thank you for your interest. The Moto G 2026 phone does not allow you to expand the internal storage (ROM), as the built-in storage is fixed at 128GB. However, it does support storage expansion of up to 1TB using a microSD card, which lets you store additional photos, videos, and files. In addition, the device comes with 4GB RAM and supports RAM Boost, which can expand memory performance up to 12GB by using a portion of the internal storage to improve multitasking.
