This paints me to write as I'm a shareholder of Meta, but their headset and customer service absolutely blow!! Just after a year of owning my occulus 2, the clip on the headstrap broke. I fought with customer service and they absolutely refuse to send me a new strap because it's out of warranty. I wasn't being rough with it, it wasn't a kid who broke it. The thing just broke. It makes me never want to buy another occulus and I'll have to encourage my kid against the company. I went onto amazon and bought a 3rd party strap that gets way better reviews than the original strap. I expected a lot more out of Meta. Buyer beware....

There is only one true reason to own this headset,..

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is a great device for the price I paid. I had seen VR before in different venues but this was my first owned headset so I got to spend more than 10 mins with it in one sitting. I was blown away with the content you can get now. I ended up buying the elite strap with battery to get more than an hour a day with it. The one negative that stands out for me is that it works best for people with good vision. For folks with glasses, you have to have frames that are 144mm or less which means people with wider frames (mine are 155mm) have to resort to contacts. Other than that, go get it!

You have to improve your shipping delivery when people who work.

UPS was trying to deliver this while my daughter was a work and after a few attempts they send it back, so when they tried to get it delivered again Verizon said they would not give the discount and pay for shipping.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

VR goggles are great. Headstrap is junk, but much better ones are available from Meta or Amazon. If you’re upgrading from a 2 with an elite strap, you can use it with the 3: get adapters from Etsy (or a friend with a 3D printer).

The resolution is so much better than Quest 2, the thing is if you play a lot of AAA games just save up a bit more and get the 512 GB option. The mix reality is unreal. I believe every household should have a VR headset per household just like how PC started. I have been actively showing it off to every friend and literally everyone is waiting to buy one (waiting for holiday discount) **I rate comfort 5 stars because I upgraded to BoboVR S3 pro head strap + AMVR facial interface + prescription lenses You could be in virtual reality for hours and forgot about the thing on your head with the head strap+ facial interface. Also those three accessories are a must have if you ever order a Quest 3. I am looking forward in owning a Quest 4 at the beginning of 2026.
