Verizon is pleased to announce a software update for your device. This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.

What's changing:

The current software update addresses the following:

  • Resolved an issue where the Router 2.4GHz and 5Ghz Wifi SecurityType value displays as null instead of 1/2/3/4 when SON is disabled via remote API call.
  • Multiple improvements for device crashes that could result in the need to manually power cycle the device to recover internet access and/or would result in an auto recovery within the device resulting in a short loss of internet.
