Getting to know your Verizon LTE Network Extender (2:03)
Your Verizon LTE Network Extender has features to help you quickly determine the device status and an admin page that allows you to manage the settings.
Let's take a look at the LCD display and go over some of the information that you're going to see.
Press the display button on the lower left side of the extender to get more information such as GPS status and how many devices are connected to the extender.
The display button allows you to cycle through useful information such as configuration, IP address, MAC address, and serial number for the Verizon LTE Network Extender.
This information will come in handy for managing the extender on the admin page.
The admin page lets you view device information, as well as manage device settings and features.
You can access the admin page from a variety of devices, including computers, tablets, and phones.
To access the admin page, you will need the device IP address.
First, make sure the device you are attempting to access the admin page from is using the same internet connection as the extender. Then, simply enter the device IP address into the address bar of your internet browser of choice.
Once you do that, it will bring you to the admin page login. The default admin password is LTEFemto plus the last 4 digits of the Verizon LTE Network Extender's unique MAC ID, which can be found on the device display as mentioned earlier in the video, or on the label on the back of the device.
This password is case sensitive.
Once you're logged in to the Admin page, you can view device status on the "Home" tab.
On the "Connected Devices" tab, you can view information about the devices currently connected to the Network Extender, and can perform advanced configuration in the "Settings" tab.
The "About" tab contains information necessary for device troubleshooting.
For more information about advanced device configuration, please see the device user manual. Most users will not need to modify any of the default settings.
