U can't use this watch by itself without ur phone. So if ur phone dies the watch doesn't work. It only works as long as ur phone is next to it and is charged. Not a good watch doesn't stay charged as well. Not a good item.

I've had numerous instances where it over heated, for no good reason and a few times even where it was on the charger and the battery went down. Would not recommend and cannot wait to change. It IS handy when it does work, so it gets a one star bump for that.

While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. I have had this watch for a year that I bought directly from Verizon. The battery does not even last thru a 12 hr fay. Has to be charged 2 x a day. Waste of money. Super unhappy.

Then it might be fine for you. The battery life is woeful. The watch itself was pretty annoying with all of the goal alerts you can't shut off. I thought I could get used to it, and I liked the looks, so I held out too long to return it, and now it is in the trash..
