Charge cuts in and out constantly

I use this exclusively for my pixel 7, and the charge constantly cuts in and out, as if I were unplugging in, however I have confirmed the connection and cord are plugged in appropriately. It will also rapidly cut in and out at times like a rapid glitch. I'm concerned this could be damaging the phone battery. To correct the issue, I have to constantly unplug the charger from the outlet, and replug it - almost as if needing to reset the charger / charging processor.

This charger is much faster than the regular charges, larger also, but I cannot complain, since it is a much faster charger.
