This is the worst phone I’ve ever used. Infuriating slow and constantly crashes. Really tried to get used to it but gave up right after the 30 return window so now I’m stuck using my work iphone for everything since I can’t stand using this pice of garbage any more but don’t want to give up my number. I got this to replace a 4 year old S20 I broke. DO NOT BUY!!

Please be mindful of the reviews. Nothing beats saying it might be that bad. Well it is. The phone is slow. It makes some sort of "electric" some from time to time. It updates and changes features on apps without warning. The google bandwagon is also amazing. Everything Google, Messaging, Fitbit, smart access, just crazy all the changes. My recent disruption is my Fitbit. I cannot unlock it. I tried everything now I think I going to be forced to get new one because I purchase an Samsung. Terrible. Be mindful. Ask question. And because it's cheaper and they say it's good, be diligent and so your research. A phone is big investment and lots of you person information is stored and accessible.

The phones are horrible! They lag, the speaker phones are distorted, the speed is horrible the finger print doesn't work 98% of the time, the facial recognition doesn't want to work, the cameras even lag! These phones are not worth the $200 a peice we are paying for 3 of them. The internet service and representatives are awesome, just wish their budget phones worked better!

Please, don't buy this phone. It is a malfunctioning piece of junk. I promise, anything is better. It started malfunctioning the day I brought it home. Explanation: I bought the Samsung Galaxy A15 from my local Metro Pcs store about 10 months ago. It is by far the worst phone I have ever had. I was sold solely by the name "Samsung Galaxy", I truly believed Galaxy was a great model and Samsung was a great brand. It was a lower budget phone so I didn't have to spend a lot to get it. I did spend a little over 300$. I thought it was a great phone for a great price. Actually, 300$ was a little over budget for me but I thought I deserved a "good" phone for once. Ha. That is until I immediately began using it. An hour after retrieving this phone I was on my way home and the sound turned off, just went totally mute half way through a YouTube video. I knew in that moment I was stuck with a crap phone. I tried turning the volume up, it obviously didn't work. I had to close the app entirely and reopen it for the sound to function again. This was literally on my way home from buying the phone. I hoped that one time was just a fluke, but ultimately I knew it was probably going to be a consistent issue. And it is. The sound goes mute ever so often and I have to close and reopen the app, not just YouTube, I could be watching a video on my browser, TikTok, Facebook, whatever, it goes mute no matter what I'm doing. I thought " I can live with that". But then the phone started freezing, again this was within a month of owning it. It would freeze in place wherever I was, whatever app I was in, it would freeze and then crash. I wondered if the sensitivity was the issue so I adjusted it, it still freezes, lags and crashes daily. It's obviously an internal issue. I have tried clearing space, checking to ensure I didn't have a bad app in my phone, I've reset it to factory settings. They even changed out the sim card which was already somehow fried within a six month window. Nothing prevails in the attempt to make this phone function as it should. I've used K7's that functioned better than this piece of garbage. It lags, crashes and freezes a few times a day. The sound goes off frequently. And the back of the phone gets extremely hot. It is incredibly slow. I have tried using wifi, not using wifi and just relying on the service to see if websites in the browser would load faster, or if I'm streaming something on Netflix or another streaming service would stop lagging. But nothing prevailed. That's how it starts, I'll try to click on an app and it won't open or it'll be extremely slow to open and then it will lag, freeze and it always ends with everything crashing. I've tried every troubleshoot I possibly could. The phone is simply just garbage. I will never use Samsung Galaxy in any form ever again. They make great quality product when it's a stale 2 grand. But if you're on a budget, the cheaper galaxy phones are absolutely not the way to go. They make cheap garbage if the phone is less than 800$. Therefore, stick to what you know works for you. Alcatel has always provided excellence and it's what I should have stuck with. I knew I couldn't take it back, it was too late. So I have dealt with it for as long as I've had to. I don't have the funds to just buy a new phone every year. So I have to wait for tax time again. Please, if you're going to go for a new phone, stay clear of Samsung Galaxy, specifically the A15, unless you're spending over 800$. Don't do it. You'll regret it. And always spend the extra to get insurance, I could have fixed this problem possibly if I had got the insurance at the time of purchase.

If you don't need the prestige of the newest flagship model, the Samsung A15 5G is a great option.
