Verizon Smart Locator helps you keep track of what's most important to you. Attach a Verizon Smart Locator to an item, and then you can check that item's location from your Android™ smartphone or iPhone® anytime with the Verizon Smart Locator Hub app.

To activate your Smart Locator:
You've successfully activated your Verizon Smart Locator. The LED light will remain off after activation to conserve battery life. You can press the button on your Verizon Smart Locator any time to check its status. Learn about the LED light patterns.
Try activating through My Verizon instead:
If you're still having trouble, you can call Customer Service or take the device to a Verizon store for help.
To turn it on:
Your Smart Locator will turn on, and the LED light will turn off to conserve battery life. You can press the button on your Verizon Smart Locator any time to check its status. Learn about the LED light patterns.
To turn it off:
You'll hear a descending tone, and the Smart Locator will turn off.
You can manage your device profile in the Smart Locator Hub app:
You've successfully changed your nickname and photo.
You can let additional people track your Smart Locator and receive its notifications by adding contacts through the Smart Locator Hub app:
The new contact will receive a text message invitation. They'll need to download the Smart Locator Hub app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and create a Smart Locator account, if they haven't already.
To edit an existing contact in the Smart Locator Hub app:
To delete an existing contact in the Smart Locator Hub app:
The contact will no longer be able to track your Smart Locator or receive alerts for it.
You can manually locate your device at any time:
If you're near your Smart Locator but can't find it, you can make it beep:
The Smart Locator will start to beep. Once you find the Smart Locator, press the button on the Smart Locator to turn the beeping off.
To send a location update from the Smart Locator, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
This will send the owner (and anyone else set to receive location alerts) a notification that includes the location of the Smart Locator.
You can track your Smart Locator in real time, however, this significantly drains your Smart Locator's battery. We recommend you only use it when absolutely necessary.
To turn on real-time tracking:
You can review up to 60 days of location history. After 60 days this data is automatically deleted.
To view your tracking history:
Once on, the map will display all the activity that the Smart Locator had for that day. To view activity for a different day, use the left and right arrow icons to scroll through your tracking history.
When you get your Smart Locator it will be blinking and ready to pair. After it's paired, the LED light will turn off to conserve battery life. The light will only show one of the following patterns when it's connected to your charger or when you press the button on the Verizon Smart Locator to check its status.
Solid amber: Turning on.
Blinking amber: Ready to pair.
Blinks green once every 3 seconds: Connected to your charger and charging is in progress.
Solid green (no blinks): Charging is complete. Disconnect from your charger.
3 green blinks (after you press and hold the button for 3 seconds): Smart Locator is sending a location update.
Solid green for 5 seconds (after you press the button): Battery level is above 20%.
Solid amber for 5 seconds (after you press the button): Battery level is below 20%.
No blinks (after you press the button): Power is off.
To perform a factory reset:
You've successfully completed a factory reset on your Verizon Smart Locator. Follow the steps to activate the Smart Locator again.
To cancel your Verizon Smart Locator subscription:
