Palm Text and Call Syncing on Android™ (2:24)
Your Palm can send and receive calls and text messages using the same phone number that you use on your primary device, so that you can keep your conversations moving while on the go.
In this video we will go over how to sync text messages and calls between your Palm and another Android device.
First, we will talk about syncing phone calls.
When you purchase your Palm, a Verizon representative will connect your Palm to your primary phone number for phone calls.
You will be able to send and receive phone calls on your palm from the same number used on your primary device.
If phone calls are not coming into your Palm, or your outbound calls are showing up as a different number, you will need to contact Verizon to have your SIM cards paired.
Next, we will talk about messages.
To sync messaging for your Palm with your primary device, you'll need to download and set up Verizon Message+ on both devices.
To do this, open Google play.
Search Message+.
And click download.
Open the app and follow the onboarding steps for set up.
Feel free to pause this video to complete those steps first.
Now that set up is complete on your main device, we will go over how to connect your Palm.
During the initial set up of your Palm, you can set up call and text syncing through Verizon Message+.
From the text syncing screen, tap Next.
Tap Start Messaging.
Name your Palm and enter your Verizon phone number.
Tap Next.
Scan the QR code that was sent to you on your primary device. Tap Save.
At this point, your Palm is set up for call and text syncing.
After you finish device set up you'll be able to send and receive texts and calls from your primary phone number.
If you skip this step when you first set up your Palm, open Message+ on your home screen and you'll be taken through the same steps.
If you're still experiencing issues and would like to connect messaging again you can initiate set up again by going to Settings, then System, then Setup wizard.
