Horrible phone several calls to Verizon 4 times a week due to phone not working. I have to send my son a text in order for him to text others or myself. Replacement phone was sent and received with same issue. We are now going to try the TCL with fingers crossed this works on a daily basis. I don't recommend at all.

Score should be ZERO or lower. Had to get something when 3G went away and this was the free offering. It was NOT free!! Still had to pay it off in cash when it started overcharging batteries in less than 6 months. Could have been a real disaster if it caught fire. Also, there is NO manufacturer warranty!!
The folks at my local Verizon store (Victra in Dayton) were very helpful but the Verizon system as a whole really sucked in this instance. I could not verify my account because my phone was not working etc. Some cubicle dweller needs to come up with a good workaround and get everybody trained on it. About ready for tin cans and string.

I ordered a new phone, but the top speaker doesn't work; I have to talk on speakerphone. I contacted customer service to request a replacement phone; they only sent a SIMS card. On Saturday, 10/5, I spent 45 minutes on the phone to request another replacement phone, only to find out it was never ordered. This is still not resolved—horrible customer service. This issue an open issue.

poor quality phone with defective charger

Phone is not of high quality. The charger did not work and the cable did not fit easily into the phone.

I am a little disappointed in how complex it actually is to use the phone. When I saw it, I thought about older phones that look like this. I am sure if I were more tech savvy, it would be the phone I would use all the time. This one is going to take time to learn how to really take advantage of not only the design but all that it offers.

You Get What You Pay For

When Verizon dumped 3G and forced me into buying a 4G phone, I opted to go with this piece of junk because of the price. Wow. Big mistake. If you want to send a text longer than one sentence, you better pack a lunch. You have to toggle back and forth even if you want to end a sentence with a period. The battery life is terrible. Ten minutes after a charge you lose 20% of the battery life. The side buttons are located in such a way that the volume is turned down and you don't even know it. Good luck with the voicemail. Many times there is NO notice at all that you have voicemail. On some occasions it takes a day or more for the phone to even store the message. Unless you are either dirt poor, or stupid (like I was), do not buy, lease, rent, or steal this phone.

potential fire hazard

I had gotten this phone 3 years ago as a birthday present because It was supposed to be for emergency calls only. I don't use it much but even on the first day, the battery really sucks. Then, recently I needed to call my mom but the phone kept boot looping over and over again with the back light and screen flickering, so I opened the phone and looked at the battery and it falls out when usually it's sits in flush and hard to get out. the battery is Swollen and puffy where it now wont read the sim when it is on (when it is plugged in it doesn't boot loop), so now I have a useless phone that has a garbage camera and the only thing I liked about it was the ring tones, they sounded nice, but you can get that witch any phone from verizon, please don't buy this phone, it's small, difficult to use (info for seniors buying this) and it doesn't even record videos. (also for seniors, if your phone seems puffy, get a new battery immediately, that is a fire hazard if popped and could put toxic fumes in your home).
