Surprised by poor sound quality

We were surprised by our disappointment with this speaker. The sound quality is inferior. To verify we borrowed a neighbour’s speaker (different brand) and compared. Ours from Verizon was inferior and more expensive. I returned the speaker to Verizon.

The speaker and wireless charging is great but you can't use the app that is suggested because the speaker won't connect to it. But it functions great without it.
