Heard music at a friends house sounded like the stereo systems i had in the 70s. ,no boom box could ever mock. .i had to have one. Brings me back. Havent been this happy w stereo sound in a very long time ,i love it dest ever

I bought this for my husband's birthday and it was well but the battery doesn't last more than 3 hours. I'm very disappointed because it mentions that it can be on for up to 12 hours and that's not true!

Thank you for your feedback. The published up-to playtime is the maximum battery time when listening at background levels. Turning up the volume and music with more bass will reduce the playtime, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. Please try charging your speaker to 100%, then play music at a low volume and without bass boosted. If the speaker lasts close to 12 hours, the battery is working fine. If it is less than 90% of the playtime, it is possible that the battery is losing its capacity. Please contact us for further assistance.

I bought this about 3 months ago and it has a great sound output. Especially the bass and stereo but on the downside the battery life isn't as advertised. On a full charge the Flip 6 cannot play music more than 5 hours.

Thanks for your feedback. The published battery life is up to 12 hours, but actual playtime depends on volume and source content. At background listening levels, you’ll get the maximum battery time, but as you increase volume or boost bass, playtime decreases—just like a phone battery drains faster with a brighter screen. Music with more bass also shortens battery life. It is possible that the battery is working correctly but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

I bought my JBL Flip 6 three to four weeks ago and it arrive on time for my camping trip. I really love that I was able to customize it, it looks so beautiful! The sound is great, and the battery lasts a long time, I didn't have to charge it for the three days we were at the lake. I recommend this to everyone!

You guys customized a bluetooth speaker with my daughter's artwork and my initials on it... it is one of the coolest things I own... before I even turned it on, I sent pictures to my friends and family... very...VERY impressed... now it's been awhile and ive used it quite a few times, I love it... I have been telling everyone a JBL customized speaker is the perfect gift!

does this have a magnet to stick to a golf cart?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip 6 does not have a built-in magnet, so it can not stick directly to a golf cart. You have an option to purchase a separate mount or holder to secure it.

I see that the membranes on the base drivers on the sides are exposed. Can that cause an issue?

can you sync a Flip 6 with a Charge Essence

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Charge Essentials doesn't have a Connect feature. But it has Bluetooth capability to connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device. On the other hand, our JBL Flip 6 has a Partyboost feature that you can pair with other PartyBoost-enabled speakers. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.
