I had perhaps the original Xtreme. I had it packed away, for years, and dug it out to find the battery was only good for only about 90-minutes. The Xtreme 4 has more features than I was interested in and includes a big price tag. My point being, ‘the 3’ sounds considerably better than the prior version which has too much bottom end, for me. The simple EQ in the app for ‘the 3’ is a nice feature. Good value and built like a tank.

I finally decided to purchase because it was on sale. I have the the flip 6 but the battery doesn’t last. So I purchased this and now our beach outings. I have Music playing for hours until I leave. Highly recommend this speaker!!!

Amazing Speaker

I bought this personalized speaker a few weeks ago. As usually for myself, but the kids take it more often than I get to use it. Love the sound quality that comes out of it and how easy it is to connect to. We have a trip coming up in a couple months that we will use it with a couple other ones that come along with family to link them. I can’t wait to hear what multiple will sound like.

In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the maximum published playtime (15 hours). Please contact us for further assistance.

Where is the serial number

Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL Xtreme 3 serial number can be found on the original box and underneath the charging flap, near the charging port, or near/on the wristband on a white sticker with this format: AA0000-AA0000000. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

I assumed that at max Outputpower the power consumption at 7,4Volt is 60W / 7,4v = 8Ah .So the further consideration is that battery will last 5000mah / 8000mah = 37 minutes. Right ?

I understood that we can supply/charge the Xtreme 3 with two power bank at the same time, one for each USB port. Is it correct ? Or true is only that Xtreme 3 can supply two device at the same time ?

Thanks for reaching out. The port where you can plug the supplied charging cable on our JBL Xtreme 3 is for charging the speaker itself, it must be plugged into a power source to hold a charge. On the other hand, the type A port beside it is where you can plug one device to charge.

Yes, our JBL Xtreme 3 can be connected to a Laptop as long as it has Bluetooth or Aux input which can be linked via a 3.5 mm cable.

can i play X3 while battery is charging at half ..will it KEEP charging the battery

There is no harm in leaving your JBL Xtreme 3 connected to electricity at all times. The battery will not overcharge. You can simply pick it up, unplug it from the charger, and be on your way, knowing that you have a full charge. However, if you’d like to conserve electrical energy, disconnect from charging.

I already have an extreme 2, can the extreme 3 be linked to the older extreme 2

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Xtreme 3 and JBL Xtreme 2 have different wireless-connect features that are incompatible with each other. The JBL Xtreme 3 has a Partyboost, while the JBL Xtreme 2 has the Connect+ feature. These speakers can only connect with another speaker with the same wireless connect feature.

What is the power rating of the speaker cuz in the specs it says 2x25w woofers and 2x25w tweeters. I don’t know how the math on that works for power rating. I already bought the speaker not here yet just want to know.
