I didn't expect to love this photo frame as much as I do! So easy to set up, even for me! I love that I can look up from my desk and see pictures I haven't seen in so long! Everyone at work is amazed by it! This is a must have is you miss seeing your photos!!

I bought this product without doing a proper evaluation so it is my fault that I now have something so underwhelming. Now I have it I am suitably impressed with the size and picture quality but the method of control is a complete dog and finding out that it actually totally relies on the WiFi to source material from the cloud is crazy. And 4GB of storage - it is a jest, surely. Most of the "control" system is about Netgear advertisements for their art library and that there isn't Windows version only adds to the difficulties. Fortunately I didn't pay full price for it so I'll persevere for a while and see if it can be used in any sort of practical manner. Disappointed doesn't describe my feelings!

I bought the Meural 27" frame for my wife's 50th. Within a few days of installation, we realized the frame was rotating through the pics by itself and intermittently bringing up the ugly browse menu (even though this was disabled in the app, which is abysmal). We will, however be keeping it since I put a hole in the wall behind frame for hiding cable. Gestures (swiping across frame to change pics can't be disabled). Hopefully Netgear address this. If it improves, I will update. If repurchasing, I would try the Lenovo. Can't recommend.

Simply put, Netgear has created one of the best digital picture frames on the market. The aesthetic quality of the frame, high resolution display, and ease of setup and use. I would have given the Meural Photo frame 5 stars, but Netgear can still make some improvements... 1) Transition between photos better; the current transition looks and feels clunky 2) Support more image formats; iPhone's latest format, HEIF, is not supported! 3) Consider giving users the option to turn on some Ken Burns style photo zooming and panning; especially for higher resolution images 4) Images added to a linked album should be auto uploaded to the photo frame without you having to open the Meural app (app should run in background and do a daily upload check) Otherwise, I'm a big fan of this Meural Photo Frame and the Meural Canvas II. Bought family members the Meural Photo Frame so we can all contribute images to our shared iCloud album and have those images appear on our photo frames!
