With my old router we would only get up to 50mbps and the signal would constantly cut off, but now with this mesh system we get about 170 mbps speed! The setup was very easy, covers our entire home and we can finally enjoy the speeds we are paying for.

Very slow and frequently drops connection. The app essentially doesn't work at all as it just says "failed to do x". It's been very frustrating.

Purchased this at beginning of week. Easy to set up. Replaced optimum router and extender which were terrible. I no longer have any dead spots and download speeds more than doubled.

Slow video streaming

slow video streaming. call multiple times to Tech support and no resolution. Restart router to fix the issue of slow video streaming and buffering. It works fine for 1-2 days only, after that slow video streaming in Youtube, nextflix etc again. there is an internet forum since 2017 where people face this issue and no resolution till today 2021. bad product. would never recommend.

Netgear puts out a product that blocks every website you try to get on (including their own customer service link!) and will not give any email or telephone support unless you "have your credit card ready." I've been at this for 2 days trying to fix, and I am literally in tears and my employer has lost patience with me and with Netgear. Thanks a lot Netgear. This needs to go to the garbage and I'll have to buy something else. Nightmare.

So I had a router that was more than seven years old. So you could see that I was in for a significant upgrade. Orbi just wanted I needed now that I just bought a house. The other router was great for my apartment but not for my house watch has a backyard. Upgrade if you have an older router. This one would work great if you have an upside garage.
