I find the wifi reception to be good, no drops, the duel plugs are a plus and as usual with all my Wemo devices (I have 22, 18 are active), install and operation has been flawless.

Good Smart Plug. Using in indoors in our family room controlling a power strip that has three torches lamp plugged in power strip. Outdoor plug was cheaper than Wemo smart plug at the time. There are two outlets on the plug. I am only using one currently. Not had a problem yet with smart plug. I did unplug it briefly to move to another outlet which I had turn on manually to initially activate again.

Unfortunately my smart plug was constantly losing connection, and could not be recognized by smart home devices. This would require a complete reconnect operation and connecting this smart plug is incredibly time consuming and frustrating. I could take me up to several hours to finally connect the device. I may have gotten a defective model, but I have finally decided to move on to a different smart plug.

I bought three of these to use for Christmas lights in subzero snowy new Hampshire. It says they're not recommended to use below 32° but, They worked fine. The only problem is the same with every Wemo. When they work they're great when they disconnect they're a pain in the neck. I also wish they would get away from Apple HomeKit. I hate the HomeKit app. I have an iPhone and I have the HomeKit on my phone but it constantly interferes with the Wemo app which is all I want to use. It's also a pain in the neck to get a new Wemo connected sometimes. The HomeKit has also been a pain in the neck in trying to set up several Wemo smart indoor outlets. Sometimes you can set up an outlet in a few minutes other times it takes you forever and a day. Also both indoor and outdoor plugs can randomly disconnect for seemingly no reason and then you have to reset them, sometimes a factory reset is needed in order to get them to connect again. Very frustrating. Other times you can lose power power and all Wemo units comes back on and everything connects perfectly. Next time, some might connect some might not. Those are the frustrating issues with Wemo. I love the Wemo app I have everything scheduled including the Christmas lights with the outdoor plugs and everything worked great 85% of the time. Indoor I have several smart plugs scheduled in running all year long including Alexa connected so I can voice activate a Wemo plug.

It doesn't work below freezing, which is kind of silly for a outdoor plug. Did all of your designers live in California?

In general, I am pleased. But your description is misleading in that it implies that I can control 2 sets of lights, etc. with 2 independent on/off buttons in app. The outdoor plug is just a waterproof smart switch with 2 outlets.

Convenient. Easy to set up. I use it to run my landscape lighting box. No more crawling up to adjust the switch after a power outage or daylight savings!

Looks like a great product but won't work for me. I intended on plugging my daytime running fountain in one outlet and my nighttime landscape lights in the other so I don't have to keep switching the plugs in the morning and at night. But the two outlets ONLY work together. Too bad.
