Very disappointed with Verizon

First off Verizon should not be selling this phone at all. I have mobile data issues and connectivity issue. Had my sim card replaced, and still cant use my phone half of the time, and my phone keep running hot for no reason. People cant hear on the when talking, cant use my speakerphone to talk to any one. I've had this thirty days after my purchase, I didn't want to upgrade, but I had no choice cause my Note 10 kicked out for no reason. Like I don't want my money back, I just want a different phone and Verizon acting like they cant take it back. I guess I'm going to have to go to AT&T, because this is ridiculous. I just want better phone, I'm paying to not be able to use my phone(both of the at that). Literally both of the phones are horrible.

I was one of the very first adopters of this phone as I have been a faithful supporter of all Moto flagships when time comes to upgrade (previous phone was Moto Z Force, and before that was a Droid Turbo). This is hands down the best flagship phone I've had from Moto and the best phone I've owned, period. It saddens me that so many people have had negative experiences with it. I did experience the slight green screen issue for about a week or two after a couple months of owning it but Motos update to fix it really did correct it. The pictures it takes are phenomenal, I have a friend that does professional photography for a living and was really blown away by the shots the macro could take after she had just spent hundreds on a lens for her DSLR to do the same. Everyone compliments the pictures it can take and the quality of the screen resolution itself. Durability? I do have a otter box for it, I don't use screen protectors and haven't for some time because of how far gorilla glass has come, I've dropped this phone, so, so, many times...never an issue, it doesn't even skip a beat, not a crack, a scratch, nothing. I've even spilled numerous liquids near it and on the screen..it just doesn't quit. Idk if Moto has changed it's build quality from the beginning but I have nothing but great things to say about it and so does everyone I show it too. I also get compliments on the sound quality and volume of the tuned speakers all the time as well. Also, mine did come with a power brick but I've also owned it for well over a year so I guess that's just a new Moto policy. Battery is still going strong too, it still lasts a day and a half but I also have a bad habit of keeping alot of apps on my phone.. you've got the space on it for sure with this one! I also have my entire dedicated music collection on it's drive which is well over 100 gbs and I still have a little under a hundred gigs of free space, even with everything I have installed on top of that. It's a shame so many people have had negative experiences with it because for me it's been a absolute champion of a phone.

    I've been using this phone for over a month now and I have to say I am pretty impressed with it! Mind you, I'm retired and use my phone for all sorts of things non work related, so a business person might look at this review differently. The colors and grafics are amazing and I love how the screen is so easy to set up. The battery life has also been amazing as I use my device from early morning to very late at night and that is also impressive! I've also dropped the phone a few times and it's still going strong, which is more than I can say about myself! I am really impressed overall with this phone and it's lightning speed and that's why I gave it a 5* rating! Excellent job Motorola!

    Careful with the screen!

    This phone is great in every way but the screen. Since the side of the phone is also a screen, avoid dropping it at all costs. Screen protectors won't help it or a OtterBox case. Don't even look at the screen or it will literally explode. There was also a defect on these phones. Google it. I'm sure you can guess what the defect was.

    I have NO idea what phone the negative reviewers purchased, but it was not the Edge+. First off, camera and light gestures are simply awesome! Ridiculous battery life - literally 2 days for me on average. 5G works everywhere it is available, no call drops or weird issues. I've had this phone over 6 months, and it has been dropped. Several times. No issues at all. Oh and it still has a headphone jack! No, it does not come with the brick charger for the wall - but who doesn't have multiples of those lying around? It comes with the cord, plug it into anything USB, and yes, it will charge.

    Ive had the phone a little more than a year, works well, aside from screen issues and randomly restarting. The screen started having a green line around the edges, then out of the blue one day it started having large spots, then the screen would just go blank. fast forward a week, and now the screen is completely black and doesn't come on.

    such a fragile screen and made to not work if broken at all gone through 3 of them in 5 moth because they quit working when i buy screen protectors and cases

    Videos don't rotate to Fullscreen

    Watching videos on any streaming service will randomly not rotate so you watch it super condensed or zoned into the middle. You will have to continuously lock and unlock phone until it eventually corrects itself, it restart phone. Happens with mine and with the other edge+ I have in my phone. Extremally annoying when I watch lots of shows and videos while commuting. Didn't matter if I had auto rotate on or off still stays a constant problem

    I took a chance on a new Motorola Edge from Verizon and what a complete failure. Connectivity is great if you have another phone you can use as a hotspot, reception again if i used my company phone or my sons phone as a hotspot I could make phone calls or search internet. Son has a Apple and wife has a Google pixel 3 and both are superior to this phone. Only place this phone has exceled is battery life. Now phone is less than 3 months old and is completely dead. My only hope is when I return home the new Goolge pixel will be out.
