Trading in your phone, tablet, or smartwatch is easy with our Device Trade-in Program.
Go to verizon.com/tradein to get started.
If you're new to Verizon, you can get an estimated trade-in value without signing in. We accept devices from any network.
If you're already with Verizon, sign in to get a quicker trade-in value for existing devices on your account.
To trade in a different device, tell us about the device you're trading in – like brand and model.
Let us know if the device is in good condition and you'll get the estimated trade-in value.
To continue, you might need to enter the IMEI, also known as your Device ID. We'll provide instructions to find the IMEI for the device you have selected.
Your options to get paid will vary depending on the device you're trading in and whether you are signed in.
To see offers just for you, or to redeem promotions requiring a trade, you'll need to be signed in.
You can shop for new eligible devices now if you want to use your trade-in credit to lower your monthly payments. If you plan to use your credit towards a new device, it will be applied to your account as a credit, over 36 months.
Other payout methods are available - like a PayPal Deposit or Verizon Account Credit. We'll issue your payment or credit once your trade-in device is received and verified.
Depending on your location, we'll provide return options for your trade-in device. You may see the option to drop it off at your local Verizon store, print your own shipping label or have prepaid shipping supplies sent to you.
Once complete, we'll send a confirmation email with instructions to prepare your trade-in device.
It's important to disable Find my iPhone or Google Activation Locks.
Be sure to back up your content and clear your data before sending your device.
We follow strict federal guidelines to make sure your old device is completely erased.
Once we receive and verify your device, you're all set.
