How to pay your Verizon home bill

Eliminate stamps and late fees with Auto Pay, Verizon’s automatic monthly payment plan. Your monthly bill is paid from the account of your choice: checking or savings account, debit card or credit card.

If you have Fios TV and an IMG/TV Set-top Box, you can pay with your remote control:

• Press Menu
• Then select Customer Support > My Account > Bill & Payment > Pay My Bill

Note: If you do not have a Payment Account on record you can add them in My Verizon.

To set up a new Auto Pay payment method:

• My Verizon website - Select Bill > Auto Pay. Follow the prompts to set your payment method and payment date.
• My Verizon app - On the Me tab, choose Bill Overview, then Manage Auto Pay.

To set up a new payment method:

• My Verizon website - Select Account > Home > Bill Overview > Payment settings. Scroll to saved payment methods and choose Manage payment methods. Follow the prompts to set your payment method and payment date.
• My Verizon app - On the Me tab, choose Bill Overview, then scroll to Payment settings. Follow the prompts to set up a new payment method.

*Verizon can’t view your bank login information.

You can save your credit/debit card and/or your bank account as your bill payment method(s) in My Verizon. The Online Banking option gives you an easier way to add and save your bank account information.

Yes, you can sign in to My Verizon and manually pay your bill.

Good to know: If needed, same-day payments can be canceled on your payment history page. Up to 2 same-day bill pay cancellations are allowed in a 90-day period.

To schedule a one=time payment:

• My Verizon website - Go to Account > Home > Bill > Pay bill. Follow the prompts.
• My Verizon app - On the Me tab choose Bill Overview, then Pay Bill. Follow the prompts.

Scheduled payments are debited from your checking account or charged to your credit card on the scheduled payment date. One-time payments are debited or charged within 24 hours of submitting the payment.

Verizon restricts your payment options when payments have been returned. You can pay with these methods:

• Cashier’s or certified check
• Credit or debit card
• Cash in person - Verizon.com/paymentlocations

You'll need to continue paying with the methods above until a positive payment history is established and the "Do not send personal check" message no longer appears on your bill.
